UK PonyCon welcomes Elley-Ray Hennesy (In person!)
UK PonyCon was utterly delighted to welcome Elley-Ray as a virtual guest during our 2021 online convention - Now? We are here to welcome Elley back, but this time? To Nottingham, in person!
My Little Pony fans may know Elley best as her role as My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic’s ‘Mistmane’ as one of the six ‘Pillars Of Old Equestria’. However Elley very recently returned to the world of ‘My Little Pony’ voice acting in: ‘My Little Pony: A New Generation’ as ‘Grandma Figgy’ the grandmother to Hitch Trailblazer! Elley took on the role of ‘Grandma Figgy’ in ‘Winters Wishday’ released over the holiday season in 2022! But who is Elley-Ray?
Elley is an international, award-winning actress, writer, director, producer and "bon vivant"! She has performed in over 300 theatrical productions, with hundreds of on-camera series and movies to her credit and voiced literally thousands of commercial campaigns, animated series, animated movies and games.
Recently, three shows Elley voices have been nominated for Canadian Screen Awards - The Cat in the Hat Halloween Special, where she sings with Martin Short; The Wide World of Wandering Wenda by Margaret Atwood, where she plays the yodelling, Yolanda Yukihosen & Shuyan Saga, an interactive game where she played 20 Characters.
Elley has 2 Television series on Amazon Prime; Pink Is In (just nominated for an Actra Award for Best Ensemble) where she plays the lead, Warden Dungworth; and Insomnia, where she plays a wicked Billionairess, Katherine.
She is currently playing Grandma Figgy in ‘My Little Pony: Generation five’, Chuck the Duck in Agent Binky, Judge Jowels in Go Dog Go, Oyster Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom and Alice Lovely in Ghost Train, with a few NDA's projects in production.
Elley produces and casts several shows, including the Get Mic'd, international extravaganza, The Ultimate VO Survivor-Take 3, that just had its Live Finale at VO Atlanta with over $300,000 in prizes!

Elley-Ray will be our second special guest for UK PonyCon 2023. Both guests will be appearing together in panels at UK PonyCon 2023 where you will be able to ask qustions and hear lots of stories from the world of My Little Pony voice acting, and beyond! They can also be found during allotted time slots in our ‘Signing Area’ for Autographs and Photographs. These are to be purchased on the day of the convention and the allotted times? Will be shown on our convention schedule!
Tickets for UK PonyCon will be available for purchase next week. On April the 29th? at 20:00 hours British Summer Time, better known as 8pm in the evening! If you would like to purchase one of our extra special Gold or Silver tickets, which automatically award you with autograph tokens to meet our special guests? We heavily suggest purchasing those as soon as tickets become available! Silver tickets contain 2x autograph or photograph tokens and Gold tickets? Contain four!
