UK PonyCon 2025 - DATES & LOCATION!
We FINALLY have news for you pony people about UK PonyCon 2025 - Thank-You for being patient with our team! We are delighted to announce that, UK PonyCon 2025:
Will be taking place on the evening of Friday the 3rd, then all day Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of October 2025
Our NEW venue is The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre!
We have a LOT of new changes for the convention this year, so lend us an ear, and let us tell you all about what to expect!
Firstly, we are moving! We are staying in the Midlands however, as we have My Little Pony conventions both above and below us here in the UK! ( Speaking of which! We will see you at the ‘Festival Of Friendship’ this weekend in Southampton! UK PonyCon will have a table, so please say hello! Details are HERE ) We are aware this will be a big change for attendees who have grown used to us remaining in Nottingham, however attendees who have been with UK PonyCon for many years, will know the convention typically moved location each and every year! We are excited to embrace Birmingham as our new home and you can learn all about our new venue, on The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre website HERE!
Our new venue has ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS! That’s right, You can actually stay at UK PonyCon 2025! The attached hotel to our venue is the Holiday Inn ‘Birmingham City Centre’ HERE! With a selection of room types in: standard, premium and suite. You can retire to your room during the convention to drop off purchases, make a lovely cuppa tea (Britannia approved!) and spend more time with friends than ever! We’re extremely excited to bring you a more cosy and enclosed convention experience, that we know many attendees have been asking us for! Not wanting to join us on site? No problem! With our venue being in the HEART of Birmingham City Centre and a minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Train Station. We have an abundance of other accommodation options nearby, as well as fantastic transport links via rail and plane! Our ‘Getting Here’ & ‘Accommodation’ pages of our website, will be updated to reflect this change in location, in the next few weeks. Please stand by! We wanted to tell you our dates as soon as we had them, even if everything else isn’t quite updated yet!
PLEASE NOTE: Right now? You CAN book on-site accommodation for the dates of our convention. HOWEVER! We will be releasing a UK PonyCon room block at a later date, which will be at a discounted rate. We heavily suggest and advise all attendees who are interested in staying on-site to WAIT for this room block announcement, rather than booking now! We will be releasing further information about how and when to book accommodation for UK PonyCon 2025 SOON!
In other new changes to UK PonyCon 2025 - We have added an extra evening! With the success of pre-registration at UK PonyCon 2024? We are embracing that the UK PonyCon experience starts on the Friday night. Pre-Registration will be returning and UK PonyCon 2025 will boast an incredible music performance night on BOTH Friday AND Saturday! This is huge news for the music-lovers who attend the convention, as we are doubling up! Now there’s even more opportunities than ever to party, and for those un-interested in the music performances? There’s even more time at UK PonyCon now, so we have way more opportunities to make memories together at the worlds longest running, My Little Pony Convention!
More details about what to expect on Friday, will be released over the coming weeks and months. But we’ve wanted to inform attendees of the changes to our location and confirm our dates as soon as possible. We are aware this announcement is going out later than usual, however with all of the new changes and improvements to UK PonyCon 2025, We’ve needed a bit more time to get everything ready! We’ve been busy busy!
We now get to begin the super fun process of getting everything ready for the BEST UK PonyCon yet! We would like to invite our community to continue to be patient with us, as we release more information, the closer to the convention that we get. We know that you have a lot of questions and queries about this years event, including but of course not limited to. Stallholders, Theme, Tickets, Guests, Panels and much, much more! We still have many things in the pipeline that we are eagerly looking forward to sharing with you all, and please know? Our team always does our best to share news and updates with you as soon as possible
Our team here at UK PonyCon is entirely volunteer based and everypony works incredibly hard to make UK PonyCon the best it can be! UK PonyCon can always welcome more volunteers on our team to make the convention even better!. While we don’t officially have volunteer applications open, if you would be interested in joining us / have queries and questions about volunteering?
